Anna U. Davis

Anna U. Davis paints with a unique perspective and provocative style. Davis moved to the United States from Sweden in 1998. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of the District of Columbia in 2002 and has since worked as a full-time artist. Davis' paintings consist of thousands of colorful paper squares that create the backdrop for her Frocasian (borne from "Afro" and "Caucasian") figures. Davis' work has been shown in Sweden and around the DC metropolitan area.
